The best rat.

This happened when Shayan was just learning to talk. I cant imagine there was a time like that when he didn't have an opinion on EVERYTHING.

After having watched a Disney cartoon of Mickey and Minnie Mouse:

Mumma: Shayan,whom do you like, Mickey Mouse or Minnie Mouse?

Shayan the lion: (thinking hard)

                              Gagan Moush!

What is mine is mine.

Shayan digging his nose

Mumma: Shayan! What are you doing? Stop digging your nose. Its a dirty habit. Come here.

Mumma grabs him and cleans his nose which is full of nosey (dried up shembud) while Shayan is wailing and protesting. When Mumma finally lets him go

Shayan: NO MUMMA! DON'T DO THAT! DON'T TAKE MY NOSEY. IT IS MY NOSEY. PUT IT BACK. ONLY I TAKE MY NOSEY! PUT IT BACK!

Innocent sounds.

Shayan did a loud pong (farted)

Mumma:  SHAYAN!! What was that? Did you pong?

Shayan: No Mumma, my bum gave a burp.

ELEPHANT STORY

Mumma was telling Shayan a story about the temple elephant who would walk
around the streets with his mahout on his back and ask people for money.

Mumma:       ....so this elephant came to Shayan and said 'money, money,
please give me money!'. So Shayan took  a 10 rupee note out of his pocket
and put it in the elephants trunk. The elephant was very happy to see the
10 rupee note and said.......
Tell me Shayan what did the elephant say?  ( the answer obviously being
"Thank you")

Shayan :  छूटटा नहीं है!

Chips

It was communion time in church. Mama, Dado and Shayan went forward
and kneeled at the Altar.Shayan was observing everything very
carefully. The Pastor picked up a communion wafer, dipped it in wine
and gave it to Dado. He another took wafer and gave it to Mama. He
then placed his hand on Shayan's head, blessed him and went to the
next person. Immediately Shayan reacts:
Shayan: Chips, Uncle chips? PLEASE GIVE ME CHIPS!! I WANT MY CHIPS!!
UNCLE, MY CHIPS!!

Good Boy

Shayan  (displeased with Mumma bout something): I'll take a rope and tie you up

Mumma: SHAYAN!! We don't tie up people with a rope. Good boys don't do that.

Shayan: Mumma, what you tie with rope?

Mumma: Mmm... We tie animals with a rope.

Shayan: What aminals?

Mumma: We tie animals like horse, goat, sheep, cow.......

Shayan: I am good boy. I tie only aminals.

Mumma (very pleased with herself): Good boy Shayan .

Shayan: Mumma, what aminal are you ? I want to tie you.

Mumma:  .

Bumbastic

Mumma: Shayan, could you please fold your blanket!

 

Shayan: No Mumma, I can't do it.

 

Mumma: Why Shayan?

 

Shayan: Because I am small boy.

 

Mumma: You are a lazy bum Shayan!

 

Shayan: No lazy, my bum is cute!

 

Mumma: 

Fishy Business

Mumma takes Shayan to the small aquarium nearby to see  fish.

Mumma: See Shayan, this is gold fish. What is it?

Shayan: Gold fish. 

Mumma: And this small yellow fish here is called Banana Chicklet.

Shayan: Banana Chicklet.

Mumma: This lovely blue one is called Damsel fish.

Shayan: Damsel fish.

Mumma: Shayan, shall we buy a fish, which fish do you want? (Quite sure he will want the blue fish since blue is his favourite colour)
